Michael did his job perfectly by staying with us after the class and dealing with a very basic example of DV2 implementation. Very honest and open-minded instructor.

Nols is a great instructor and engaged the class for different levels of discussion. My belief in DV2.0 methodology and its potential has grown ten folds. The course was well structured to cover all aspects(like Architecture, Agile) and not only DV Modelling. I would recommend this course to anyone who wants to get on the DV2.0 journey. Nols made sure to explain implementation scenarios(without specific tight coupling to tools), which really helps since each organization has its own ecosystem of tools.

The class was a game changer for me as an architect in this field and gave me insight into how I can articulate the business benefit of a strategic scalable approach rather than doing what we have always done in our organisation (traditional SDLC and Dimensional proliferation)

This is a great class. The presentation of the material is top-notch and the real world examples help tie it all together. I also did an extensive amount of networking at the class. Lastly, Dan is very approachable and I was able to correct 2 (potential) mistakes with our DV 2.0 Implementation just by talking to him.

This is a must attend class prior to building a Data Vault based Data Warehouse. I have over 2 years experience implementing a near real-time eventing DW utilizing the Data Vault and I learned many things that should have been done differently. Dan is an awesome teacher and combines real work practitioners experience with the acedemic and technical teaching. The class interaction also helped make this a truly worthwile use of my time. Dan also has a great sense of humor and lots of related work stories to keep your interest. I highly recommend this class.

The DataVault 2.0 model and methodology are the cure to the biggest pain in data warehousing: complexity growing over time, eventually bringing the project down. And Dan Linstedt has all the experience to back it up.

It was really a honour to spend some time with Dan. This is his life work and I really appreciate him taking the time out of his schedule to educate me. I found him able to guide me on applying the methodology specifically to my real world use cases. Much better than your average bootcamp taught by a tutor who is just there to pay the bills.

Trainer Michael Olschimke really knows DV because he once was questioning really hard and became a follower when convinced. He showed a lot of business cases, real world examples and notes from customer approaches. The class was not to big and provided material (sheets and books) to take away. Firstly stuff seems way to much for three days, but in the end it all fits in.

This new course is a big improvement over the previous DV1 version. Besides the new DV2 modeling it covers the other elements of DV2 like architecture, methodology, PIT & bridge tables, etc.
I especially like the detailed explanations on the DV2 concepts and on the agile methodology. Very useful are the loading templates and the discussion on managed self-service BI.
I recommend this course to everyone who is interested in “latest & greatest” data warehousing.
